Though the replacement porch has slightly altered the appearance of this house, it was built in the Queen Anne style so common in rural Georgia in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
This country grocery/general store has most recently been known as Betty’s Place. When looking for Sandy Cross on a map, you might be surprised that there are several crossroads with this name in Northeast Georgia alone.
