Grange Schoolhouse, Gibson
I had a nice visit with Mr. Usry, who owns this property. He noted that it was moved to this location many years ago after serving as the schoolhouse for the community of Grange, in Jefferson County. It’s been used as a storage facility for many years.

Though I’m unable to confirm it at this time, I believe this was originally a theatre. Since 1986, it has been home to the Gibson Lodge No. 257, F. & A. M.

This courthouse was built by J. W. McMillian & Son on the site of an 1858 residence. The property was a gift of William Gibson, the town’s namesake.
