I think this is a relatively early (1850s?) Georgian Cottage, but since I’m not an architectural historian and can’t locate any history at present, I’m not certain. Though hardly visible in the photograph, there are high piers supporting the house, a definite antebellum trait. The intricately cut porch supports are an interesting design element. Unfortunately, the house seems to be in a state of neglect and with the hole in the roof, in real danger.
