Trammell House, Shiloh

shiloh ga queen anne house photograph copyright brian brown vanishing north georgia usa 2016

Most of the architectural elements have been removed, but in its heyday, this was a grand example of the Queen Anne style. (This photo dates to March 2012). Clyde Railey writes: …it was always (still is) called the Trammel House. My family lived in this house when I was very young , about three years old, (around 1948). I was fascinated with the “wrap around “ porch, and transoms over the doors.

Queen Anne style house in Shiloh; it was always (still is) called the Trammel House. My family lived in this house when I was very young , about three yrs old, (around 1948). I was fascinated with the “wrap around “ porch, and transoms over the doors. Wow, the sight of this house brings about so many memorial! It is owned by Billy McDaniel of Shiloh at present. Thank you for making the photo.

  2. How do I find original pictures of this house? Beautiful, but would love to find a picture of what it his beautiful home of memories looked like in its hay day.

Please. It would mean a lot or to even find out how/where to go to track down original pictures when the house was built.
